Welcome to Next Tier Athletics, where our mission is to help high school track and field athletes achieve their dreams and make it to the next tier of competition.
My name is Kalobe Jimenez, and I bring years of collegiate track and field experience to guide and inspire the next generation of athletes. My journey began at the University of California, San Diego, a Division I institution, where I competed for three years under the mentorship of Darcy Ahner, who has coached Team USA at the prestigious Thorpe Cup. During my time at UC San Diego, I achieved the title of Athlete of the Year twice and honed my skills in my main events, the 110m hurdles and 400m hurdles.
After three years at UC San Diego, I transferred to Fresno Pacific University, a Division II institution, where I competed for two years under the expert guidance of Olympic hurdler Robert Foster. At Fresno Pacific, I set a school record and earned the honor of being a Division II All-American. Then finishing my NCAA career by achieving personal bests of 13.99 and 50.59 in my events respectively.
Following my collegiate career, I qualified and competed at the 2024 Olympic Trials for Team Mexico where I finished 2nd in both the 110mH and 400mh. I still continue to train and gain knowledge from various coaches around the world which I gladly bring to this platform.
Through Next Tier Athletics, I’m combining my personal experience and the knowledge gained from being coached by some of the best in the sport to provide cretic and workout plans tailored specifically to high school athletes. Whether your goal is to improve your technique, boost your performance, or secure a spot on an NCAA team, I’m here to help you every step of the way.
